Accommodation

Dean Court was originally the summer residence of John Eccles Brown who was a Scotsman employed by the India Rubber Gutta Percha and Telegraph Works Co. Ltd of Silvertown in London. While travelling in the area he fell in love twice, once with a local girl (Georgian Quick) whom he subsequently married and secondly with the very special Cornish Town of St Ives.

He had Dean Court built as his home in circa 1898. Over the years careful modernisation and extension have taken place.
Today the granite building provides first class and spacious private guest accommodation run by Tony and Yvonne Taylor.

We have been awarded a VisitBritain 5-star Silver Award for our guest accommodation.

We regret we are unable to cater for children or pets.
Dean Court is non-smoking. We accept all major credit cards.
